Huffman Grading is seeking a full-time Administrative Assistant/Accounting Clerk to help with the day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate must be highly organized, attentive to detail, and possess a strong work ethic. Applicant must have prior experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable as well as general office skills.
Requirements:
3 years of Accounting experience;
3 years of QuickBooks experience;
3 years of Microsoft Word & Excel experience;
High School Diploma Required / Associates Degree or Higher in Accounting or Business related is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Greet visitors, answer telephone, and process mail
* Verify and post details of business transactions for both funds received and disbursed
* Prepare monthly billings and process waivers according to project specifications
* Maintain vendor information and reconcile vendor statements each month
* Communicate with vendors directly regarding any billing issues or discrepancies
* Prepare end-of-month reconciliation and monthly collection reports
* Assist Human Resources with processing employee time
Hours are Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
