Responsibilities - General Manager
- Overseeing daily operations.
- Lead by example to maintain a positive, energetic, and guest-focused work environment.
- Manage staff training, scheduling, and performance to ensure exceptional service and operational excellence.
- Oversee inventory control, labor, ticket times, food quality, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Monitor and manage food costs, waste reduction, and profitability goals.
- Implement and support local marketing strategies and brand promotions.
- Ensure compliance with Huey Magoo’s policies, food safety standards, and state regulations.
- Build, develop, and motivate a high-performing team through coaching and consistent feedback.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including deposits, inventory, and reporting.
- Collaborate with the GM and ownership team on process improvements and community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2 year of experience in a restaurant general manager role (fast food/fast casual preferred, but not required) with proven track record.
- Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for team development.
- Proven ability to manage fast-paced operations and deliver outstanding guest experiences.
- Ability to learn new restaurant management systems, scheduling, and inventory software.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days, nights, and weekends.
- Capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
Preferred:
- Experience in a multi-unit or franchise restaurant environment.
- Familiarity with financial management, cost control, and local marketing execution.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace tools.
- Multi-lingual communication skills (a plus).
