DIRECTOR OF PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
Position Overview:
The Director of Professional Services is responsible for leading the delivery of all professional services, including custom software solutions and statements of work (SOWs). This role involves managing a team, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and maintaining customer satisfaction.
Position Location: Atlanta, GA
- Leadership and Management: Coordinate cross-functionally across managers, directors, and professional services staff. Foster a performance-driven culture and ensure effective change management as the business scales.
- Service Delivery: Oversee the development, delivery, and ongoing management of professional services, including custom software solutions and SOWs. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet customer expectations.
- Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers. Actively engage with clients to understand their needs and ensure satisfaction.
- Talent Development: Attract, retain, and develop top talent within the professional services team. Provide coaching and mentoring to team members.
- Budget Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor monthly spend, and drive cost efficiencies.
- Process Improvement: Continuously optimize service delivery processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the professional services business and expand service offerings.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with service delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Experience: 5 years of experience leading a global services team or practice, preferably in software implementation and delivery.
- Methodologies: Proficiency in various implementation and development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, SCRUM).
- Customer Focus: Strong background in customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Innovation: Creative and innovative mindset with the ability to develop scalable solutions.
- Global Experience: Experience working across regions, time zones, and cultures is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration).
- Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
