Radiology Technician (PRN)

Are you a Radiologic Technologist looking for a dynamic role in a fast-paced surgical environment? At Huebner ASC, we believe in teamwork, compassion, and clinical excellence. We’re currently seeking a Radiology Technician to join our collaborative surgical care team. Under the supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, and surgical staff, you'll play a vital role in assisting with diagnosing injuries and disease through radiographic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform radiographic exams and procedures as ordered by physicians

• Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed for patients and staff

• Operate, maintain, and position x-ray equipment and patients for optimal imaging

• Process radiographic images using digital or film methods

• Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate documentation

• Support the surgical team with patient positioning and room turnover

• Cross-train and assist as an Instrument Technician when needed

• Foster a safe and therapeutic environment in accordance with center protocols

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives for better patient outcomes

• Promote and uphold the mission, vision, and values of our organization

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (required)

• ARRT Certification (required)

• High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)

• One year of experience in a surgical setting (preferred)

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)

• Knowledge of Universal Precautions and Aseptic Technique

• Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset

Work Environment and Flexibility:

We operate on a team-based staffing model. This means you may be cross-trained and expected to assist in other clinical areas as patient needs and staffing requirements evolve. Flexibility and adaptability are key to success in this role.
