We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Warehouse Employee to join our team. In this role, you will be an essential part of our operations, ensuring that the warehouse is running efficiently. Working closely with other team members, you will help facilitate the timely loading and unloading of shipments, ensuring that our customers receive their products on time. Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming feed shipments for quality and accuracy.
- Organize stored feed products effectively to maximize space and accessibility.
- Prepare and load customer orders for distribution efficiently and accurately.
- Monitor and report inventory levels, identifying any discrepancies or shortages.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and handling procedures for all feed products.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, including routine cleaning and equipment maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members and assist with training new employees on warehouse processes.
WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT:
Rotate stock in the warehouse
Minimize the number of torn bags in warehouse.
Keep warehouse organized.
LOADING BAG TRUCKS:
Load bag trucks
Be able to drive a forklift
Conform to customer needs
Properly fill out Truck Loading Order (TLO)
UNLOADING BAG TRUCKS:
Unload trucks as they come to the plant.
PROCESS CONTROL SHEETS:
Accurately fill out all bag load-out sheets, receiving tickets,
and all receiving sheets.
HOUSEKEEPING DUTIES:
Keep your assigned area and equipment clean at all times.
SAFETY REQUIREMENTS:
Comply to all established plant safety rules.
CROSS TRAINING:
Able to help out in other areas in the mill.
**MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT AT LEAST 50lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
