Regional Rehab Director – Skilled Nursing Company
Located in throughout the New York State area
Salary: $100K-$150K range; based on experience
A skilled nursing company with facilities located throughout the New York State area is looking for an experienced Regional Rehab Director.
Responsibilities:
- Implements Programs to educate staff on clinical practice, documentation, regulatory compliance, professional development and orientation for DORs
- Responsible for clinical oversight while maintain federal and state regulations and state specific practice acts
- Auditing and Monitoring effectiveness of rehabilitation services and implement plans of corrections as identified. Work collaboratively with the clinical Reimbursement Team relating to above processes.
- Develop and implement educational programs
- Assist in preparing for Survey readiness and regulatory reviews at the facility level
- Work and implement program with Clinical Regionals and case management
- Assures all patient needs are met, treatment is well-documented, good outcomes are achieved and the practices operate efficiently.
- Functions as a resource for clinical program and caseload development
- Participates in responses to any denied therapy claims, as well as audit requests from OMIG, ADRs and third-party reviews.
- Reinforces and provides education with rehab reimbursement and provides industry updates.
- Participates in facility rehab budgeting.
- Assures effective and efficient coordination of staff among facilities.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a PT/OT/SLP
- Actively Licensed by the State
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have extensive experience as a Director of Rehabilitation in a nursing home setting
- Must have regional experience
- Must be willing to travel
- Must have long-term care/skilled nursing experience
- Must have strong leadership skills
