Senior-Level Swim Instructor (Experienced-PT)
** Must be willing to work Saturday and and several weekday 4:00pm-8:00pm shifts. **
Established, high-end swim school is looking for an experienced, *reliable* and dedicated member of our team. Candidate must demonstrate excellent teaching technique, commitment, promptness, responsiveness, organization, and people skills. We are looking to fill the following:
Location: This position is primarily for the indoor pools at Gold's Gym in Newburgh with a possibility to also teach at other locations such as a location in Middletown.
WSI certification is preferred however we will consider extensive teaching experience above everything else. You will co-teach with one of our senior instructors until you are proficient with our program prior to "owning" your own schedule. Candidates may have been a competitive swimmer in their past. Overall, we prefer candidates to have experience that includes teaching babies, young children, teens, adults and students with special needs.

Responsibilities
- Instruct and coach students in swimming techniques, ensuring safety and skill development.
- Implement our documented lesson plans tailored to various skill levels and age groups.
- Take attendance for each student each class.
- Monitor and assess student progress using our app, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
- Maintain a safe and organized environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance program offerings and foster a positive learning atmosphere.
- Engage with parents and guardians to discuss student achievements and areas for improvement.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
