Hudson Valley Swim has been teaching students of all ages how to swim safely and confidently for over 20 years. We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and reliable Swim Instructors to join our team at our Genesis Gym location on N. Socora
Whether you’re guiding an infant through their first splash, helping a child build new skills, or coaching an adult toward confidence in the water, you’ll be making a meaningful difference every single day.
Schedule & Availability
- Weekdays: Approximately 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Weekends: Saturday & Sunday, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Primary Responsibilities
- Teach swimming lessons using our structured, proven curriculum
- Promote water safety and proper swimming techniques
- Provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to swimmers
- Communicate with swimmer progress clearly and professionally with families
- Maintain a safe, engaging, and welcoming pool environment
Who We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of swimming instruction experience
- Strong communication, organizational, and people skills
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- High energy with a genuine passion for teaching
- Ability to work with swimmers of all ages and skill levels
Preferred Experience & Certifications
- Experience teaching infants, toddlers, children, teens, and adults
- Experience with special needs swimmers
- Lifeguard and/or CPR certification (preferred)
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
Training & Onboarding
All new instructors receive paid training and co-teach with our lead instructor until confident, then transition to their own classes and schedule.
Each Hudson Valley Swim location is independently owned and operated. The franchisee of each location is the sole employer and is responsible for all employment matters, including hiring, wages, benefits, and terms and conditions of employment.
Pay: $14.00 - $28.00 per hour
