Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time detail-oriented and reliable Laundry Aide to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and proper laundering of facility personal clothing. Your attention to detail and efficient work ethic will contribute to providing exceptional service to our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, hang clothing
- Operate laundry equipment in a safe and efficient manner
- Inspect items for stains, tears, or damage before laundering
- Label resident clothing and items at admission and as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and request replenishment as needed
- Ensure timely delivery of laundry to units
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols
Skills:
- Previous experience in a hotel or healthcare setting preferred
- Knowledge of laundering cycles
- Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently.
Hours: 7am-3:30 pm Tues, Wed and every other weekend. Cover time off in department as needed.
