We are a progressive and growing company seeking a Social Media Specialist to join our marketing team. This role is responsible for executing organic social media content and supporting social strategy across our portfolio of brands.
Reporting to the Marketing Director and partnering closely with the Content & Campaign Manager, this position will play a key role in bringing brand storytelling to life across social channels, engaging our audiences, and supporting broader marketing initiatives.
This role offers an opportunity to grow within a collaborative marketing team and develop skills across content, social strategy, and brand marketing. The ideal candidate is a creative, detail-oriented self-starter with a passion for social media, content creation, and design-forward brands.
What you’ll do:
Social Media Execution & Management
- Execute day-to-day social media activities across multiple brand channels, including content scheduling, publishing, and community engagement.
- Support the development and execution of social media strategies in partnership with the Content & Campaign Manager.
- Assist in managing multiple brand voices, ensuring content aligns with each brand’s identity and audience.
Content Planning & Creation
- Assist in planning and maintaining social media content calendars across brands, aligned with campaigns and product launches.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop engaging, on-brand content (imagery, video, captions, storytelling).
- Adapt campaign messaging into platform-appropriate, social-first content.
Creative Support & Ideation
- Contribute creative ideas to support brand storytelling across different audiences and product categories.
- Experiment with content formats (Reels, video, behind-the-scenes, etc.) to drive engagement.
- Maintain strong attention to visual consistency and brand standards across brands.
Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor social media performance and compile regular reports on key metrics (engagement, growth, reach) across brands.
- Share insights and observations with the marketing team to support ongoing optimization.
Cross-Channel Support
- Assist with influencer outreach, coordination, and campaign execution across brands.
- Support alignment between social content and other channels, including email and web.
- Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to ensure cohesive messaging across campaigns.
Key skills & requirements:
- Strong writing and editing skills with a social-first voice.
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and best practices (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).
- Ability to manage and adapt to multiple brand voices and audiences.
- Creative eye for visual content and brand storytelling.
- Familiarity with social media and analytics tools (Meta, Later, Google Analytics, etc.).
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Interest in luxury interior design and decor is a plus.
Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in social media, content, or digital marketing.
- Experience managing or supporting multiple brands or accounts is a plus.
- Experience with content creation (photo/video, captions, short-form content) preferred.
- Exposure to influencer marketing or email marketing is a plus.
- Ability to commute to our offices in Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
- US Citizen or permanent resident (no Visa sponsorship available).
