Duties

• Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including buildings, parking areas, and surrounding grounds to identify potential security risks or safety hazards.
• Monitor surveillance equipment such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior.
• Manage access control systems to verify identities and authorize entry for authorized personnel, visitors, and contractors.
• Respond promptly to emergency situations following established procedures, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, or security breaches.
• Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related events or concerns encountered during shifts.
• Perform background checks on visitors or vendors when necessary to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Assist with conflict de-escalation and manage difficult situations professionally while maintaining a calm demeanor.

Requirements

• Knowledge of surveillance systems, CCTV operation, access control systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks and heavy lifting when required for equipment or incident management.
• Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to write clear incident reports and perform effective conflict management.
• Familiarity with fire safety protocols, heavy lifting techniques, and compliance with security regulations.
• Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and conduct patrols across large areas effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to perform background checks and ensure compliance with legal standards related to security operations.
• Maintain a professional and visible security presence
• Provide professional and courteous assistance to clients, employees, and visitors
