About us
Hudson's Video Games is retro video game store chain with four locations in Altamonte Springs, Melbourne Square Mall and Volusia Mall. We buy, sell and trade all video games, consoles and controllers as well as Funko, Action Figures, and other collectible toys and statues.
Duties:
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with their purchasing decisions
- Utilize retail math skills to accurately process transactions and handle cash
- Demonstrate knowledge of products and services to effectively sell and upsell to customers
- Stay up-to-date with gaming news and releases
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of merchandise
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals
- Use time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient operations
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems effectively
- Accurately test and evaluate games, consoles and controllers that are being sold to the store. Catalog and document items in accordance with state law and company procedures.
Requirements:
- Previous retail sales experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good typing skills and speed
- Knowledge of video games, retro and newer
-Reliable transportation
-18 or older
-Able to commute and work shifts at another store as needed
Job Types: Seasonal, Part-time
Pay: From $14.00 per hour
