Overview
Hudson’s Jerk is looking for a friendly, dependable cashier / food server to join our Jamaican restaurant. This position includes taking orders, handling payments, serving food, and helping provide a welcoming experience for every customer.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
- Process cash and card payments, providing correct change and receipts.
- Portion, plate, and serve prepared food according to restaurant standards.
- Package takeout orders and check that all items are included.
- Answer questions about menu items and specials.
- Communicate clearly with kitchen staff to ensure orders are correct.
- Keep the serving area, front counter, register, and dining area clean and organized.
- Restock food service supplies, utensils, napkins, and condiments.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
