What You'll Do
This is a fast-paced, physically demanding position involving frequent lifting, carrying, and unloading of furniture throughout the workday.
- Manually unload boxed and wrapped furniture from shipping containers and trailers
- Lift, carry, and safely stage furniture for warehouse lift operators
- Assist with loading furniture onto order pickers
- Help count and verify incoming merchandise
- Inspect packaging for visible damage and report concerns
- Keep receiving areas clean, safe, and organized
- Follow proper lifting techniques and warehouse safety procedures
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed
- Ability to repeatedly lift and carry 50 lbs throughout the entire shift
- Ability to team-lift heavier furniture when needed
- Comfortable standing, bending, twisting, reaching, and performing physical work for extended periods
- Ability to work inside shipping containers and trailers in Florida's heat and humidity
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Closed-toe work boots required
- Warehouse experience preferred, but not required — we'll train the right person!
