Hudson Regional LTC Pharmacy is the premiere provider of pharmacy services to long-term care facilities in the Hudson Valley, specializing in supporting facilities that provide care of the developmentally disabled and others requiring ongoing care. We are seeking an Inventory Technician to join our team and help to make a difference in the lives of those we support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
As an Inventory technician, you will be responsible for ensuring that our supply of pharmaceuticals and other supplies are appropriately stocked and maintained so that we can timely provide services to our clients and meet their needs.
Specific responsibilities will include:
- Check in order, matching quantities to invoice
- Upload invoices to pharmacy inventory tracking software
- Put order away
- Place orders for needed product with multiple vendors
- Contact clients when full quantity is not in stock
- Prepare pre-packs
- Process returns
- Clean and maintain clean work space.
- Communicate and coordinate with other team members for any issues that may arise.
- Log and dispose of any damaged medications according to policy.
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- A strong candidate would be a pharmacy technician with drug name knowledge.
- We are looking for somebody who can demonstrate proficiency and productivity in a fast-paced environment and is able to pivot tasks easily while maintaining good judgment. You must be able to make good decisions and be responsible for consequences and results.
- Due to the nature of the work, you must be detail-oriented and possess good organizational, time management, and communication skills.
- You must be proficient and have practical knowledge of personal computer use and the ability to quickly learn the company-specific software programs and any other handheld or technology tools, as required for completing job tasks.
