Job Summary
Hudson Regional Health is seeking a highly motivated and proactive Employee Health Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the safety and clinical compliance of our workforce across our network. As the primary point of contact for employee wellness, you will manage vaccinations, respiratory fit testing, and departmental documentation. We are looking for a CCMA who possesses exceptional communication skills and the ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation & Requirements
Pay Rate: $23.00 – $25.00 per hour
Certification: Active CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) required.
Experience: 1–2 years of clinical experience, with specific expertise in vaccinations and office administration.
Travel: Must have reliable transportation; this position requires regular commuting between our hospital campuses in Secaucus, Bayonne, and Hoboken.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Outreach & Immunizations:
Administer and document employee vaccinations (Flu, Hep B, MMR, Tdap, etc.).
Execute TB screening programs, including PPD placement and reading.
Proactively monitor vaccine inventory and expiration dates across locations.
Respiratory Protection Program:
Conduct N95 Fit Testing for clinical and non-clinical staff at various sites.
Clearly communicate safety protocols and proper PPE usage to ensure staff feel confident and protected.
Departmental Coordination & Support:
Maintain meticulous employee health records in compliance with HIPAA and OSHA.
Identify upcoming compliance deadlines and proactively reach out to staff/managers to schedule required screenings.
Provide high-level administrative support, including data entry, filing, and answering departmental inquiries.
Effective Communication:
Act as a professional liaison between the Employee Health Department and other hospital units.
Handle sensitive health information with extreme discretion and a supportive attitude.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
Proactive Personality: A "self-starter" who anticipates the needs of the department and takes initiative without constant supervision.
Communication Excellence: Ability to speak and write clearly, ensuring employees across all campuses understand their health requirements.
Clinical Proficiency: Demonstrated skill in intramuscular and intradermal injections.
Technical Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel for tracking) and familiar with Electronic Health Records (EHR).
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods.
Manual dexterity for clinical tasks (injections and fit testing).
Ability to travel between multiple facility locations during the workday.
