Job Summary:
NASPI, a leading ortho spine practice committed to providing exceptional [mention specific services, e.g., surgical and non-surgical treatments for back, neck, and spine conditions], is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Business Development and Marketing Associate to join our growing team. This role is crucial in expanding our network within the personal injury attorney realm, focusing on cases related to spine and orthopedic injuries, and enhancing our overall marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will be a confident and engaging speaker, a persuasive salesperson, and possess strong marketing acumen with proficiency in Canva. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, starting as a part-time role with a strong potential to transition into a full-time position based on clearly defined performance metrics established by the physicians and Practice Manager. This role requires approximately 50% travel within New Jersey and potentially surrounding areas.
Responsibilities:
Business Development (50%):
- Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with personal injury attorneys and law firms to generate patient referrals specifically for ortho spine cases.
- Conduct in-person meetings, presentations, and networking events with attorneys to educate them about NASPI's specialized services and expertise in the ortho spine medical industry as it relates to personal injury cases.
- Effectively communicate the benefits of referring patients with spine and orthopedic injuries to NASPI, highlighting our specialized care, patient outcomes, and collaborative approach in these specific areas.
- Represent NASPI at relevant industry events, conferences, and legal association meetings focused on personal injury and the medical aspects of spine and orthopedic care.
- Track and report on business development activities, including meetings, follow-ups, and potential referral sources within the legal community dealing with ortho spine injuries.
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager and physicians to develop and implement strategic outreach plans specifically targeting the personal injury attorney network for ortho spine referrals.
- Effectively learn and articulate the nuances of the ortho spine medical industry and its direct relevance to personal injury litigation involving these types of injuries.
Marketing (50%):
- Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance NASPI's visibility and brand awareness within the target markets (both legal professionals specializing in personal injury related to ortho spine and potential patients).
- Create visually appealing and effective marketing materials using Canva, including brochures, flyers, social media graphics, presentations, and website visuals, with a focus on our ortho spine services.
- Manage and update NASPI's social media platforms with engaging and informative content relevant to ortho spine conditions, treatments, and our expertise in personal injury cases.
- Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns targeted at both attorneys (providing relevant information about ortho spine injuries) and potential patients.
- Coordinate and support marketing events and initiatives, potentially including webinars or seminars for attorneys on relevant ortho spine topics.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns and provide recommendations for improvement, specifically tracking the impact on referrals and patient inquiries related to our ortho spine services.
- Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with NASPI's brand guidelines and messaging, accurately reflecting our specialization in ortho spine care.
- Collaborate with the Practice Manager to align marketing efforts with overall business development goals, particularly in growing the ortho spine patient base through attorney referrals.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Marketing or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience in business development and marketing within the medical (ideally orthopedic or spine-focused) or legal industry may be considered.
- Proven experience in a sales or business development role, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain professional relationships, preferably with attorneys or within the medical field.
- Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently and persuasively communicate complex medical information (specifically related to ortho spine conditions and treatments) to diverse audiences.
- Strong marketing skills with practical experience in creating marketing materials using Canva. Please provide examples of your Canva work showcasing your design abilities.
