Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Process bi-weekly payrolls for salaried and hourly employees entering all necessary payroll items in the ADP system in a timely & accurate manner.
• Reviews timecards to ensure accuracy and ensure they are approved and signed off.
• Enters all appropriate payroll deductions.
• Processes all PTO payouts.
• Review register prior to running payroll to ensure accuracy.
• Assists managers with timecard editing when necessary.
• Runs all appropriate payroll reports and saves in appropriate folders.
• Print and prepares check requests for ADP invoices and agencies on a biweekly basis.
• Uploads union dues each pay period to FTP site.
• Produce payroll-related reports.
• Distributes paychecks on pay day. Reviews discrepancies with employees and corrects on supplemental payroll run.
• Processes all child support and wage garnishments and notifies employee.
  
  

Education And Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience with processing payroll; working knowledge of ADP Workforce Now payroll program and Workforce Manager time and attendance system
• strong excel skills a must.
• Familiarity/experience with union contracts is strongly preferred.
