What are the responsibilities and job description for the ANESTHESIA TECH position at Hudson Regional Health?
Duties
High school graduate or equivalent
Healthcare Experience Preferred
CREDENTIALS QUALIFICATIONS:
No licensure or credentials required
- Wipe and clean all anesthesia cables (BP cuff, EKG cable, Pulse Ox cable) after each case with hospital approved Sani Wipes
- Wipe and clean anesthesia machine and change blue towel after each case.
- Replace suction canisters used by anesthesia.
- Set up anesthesia machine after each case
- Restock anesthesia supplies within the anesthesia machine such as ET tubes, tongue depressors, yankurs, blades, etc.
- Restock anesthesia supplies in the Pyxis such as IV extension sets, EKG leads, syringes, tape, alcohol pads, stopcocks, etc.
- Check and restock anesthesia machine/cart in Labor and Delivery
- Take specimens to the lab as needed.
- Bring requested equipment to the room such as Glidescope, Infusion pump, etc.
- Assist Anesthesiologist with their request.
