Key Responsibilities
- Delivering Training: Conduct ACLS and PALS courses for healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to the latest American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines and protocols.
- Preparation of Materials: Organize and review training materials, including textbooks, case studies, and audiovisual presentations, to ensure that all content is up-to-date and relevant.
- Skill Evaluation: Assess participants' knowledge and skills through written exams, practical evaluations, and simulations to ensure that they meet competency standards.
- Hands-On Practice: Lead scenario-based training and practical sessions to improve participants' proficiency in critical life-saving techniques such as CPR, defibrillation, airway management, and pharmacology.
- Provide Feedback: Offer constructive feedback to participants on their performance, emphasizing areas for improvement and reinforcing best practices.
- Maintain Certifications: Stay current with ACLS and PALS certifications and attend ongoing professional development as required by the AHA or equivalent certification body.

- Administration & Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of course attendance, assessments, and certifications. Ensure timely reporting and compliance with accreditation standards.

- Current and valid AHA ACLS and PALS Instructor certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an emergency, critical care, or pediatric care setting.
- Strong knowledge of ACLS and PALS guidelines and protocols.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage a diverse audience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
- Must be comfortable working with adult and pediatric patients in simulated emergency scenarios.
