Hudson Pro Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is excited to expand into South Florida, and we're looking for a motivated, professional Medical Assistant to join our growing team in our brand-new Hollywood office.
This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a rapidly growing orthopedic and sports medicine practice from the very beginning, with the potential to transition into a full-time position as our Florida location continues to expand.
Responsibilities- Welcome, check in, and check out patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist physicians during orthopedic consultations and clinic flow
- Verify patient demographics, insurance information, and required documentation
- Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate patient care
- Enter and maintain accurate patient information within the EMR
- Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and room preparation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment
- Deliver exceptional customer service to every patient
You'll work with patients receiving care for:
- Commercial Insurance
- Personal Injury (Auto Accidents)
- Workers' Compensation
- Orthopedic & Sports Medicine conditions
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Experience working in an orthopedic, sports medicine, pain management, or medical office is a plus
- Comfortable working with electronic medical records (EMR)
- Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is highly preferred and considered a major advantage
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Friendly, dependable, and patient-focused
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required
- Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) ($22-$25 hour)
