OVERVIEW:
Under the leadership of the Registered Nurse, the LPN will be providing coordinated care to residents in a skilled nursing facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct care responsibilities to patients
- Supervise CNA’s
- Administer medications and treatments timely and according to policy
- Receive, transcribe, and carry out physician orders
- Follow established procedure for charting
- Complete patient assessments, coordination of care
- Identify and reports changes in condition
- Follows environmental health & safety and sanitation standards and procedures
- Oversees clinical and non-clinical acute operations and continuum of care
REQUIREMENTS:
- Valid LPN License in New York
- CPR/BLS certified
- 1
year nursing experience in a hospital, nursing home or other healthcare
setting
