About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Buyer responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the operational requirements of the organization, considering price, quality, and delivery timelines. This role involves managing vendor relationships, maintaining accurate procurement records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience (typically 2–5 years).
• Professional certifications (e.g., CPM, CPSM, CIPS) are an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers and vendors for quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and requisitions in accordance with company policies.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and place orders to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery. Responsible for all PO status updates until received in house
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, delivery records, and supplier information.
• Resolve issues related to delivery, pricing, quality, or quantity discrepancies.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand material needs and forecast demands.
• Monitor market trends to identify new suppliers and products.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical purchasing practices.

Skills:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in procurement software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques.
• Understanding of supply chain and inventory management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
