What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Software Engineer position at HUDSON LAB AUTOMATION?
Make robotics to end disease. It sounds like science fiction, but we turn science fiction into science fact. Our robotic systems are used in research labs worldwide to accelerate discoveries that make life better for everyone. There’s still so much to do—and we need you.
What You’ll Do:
Our Software Team is the brains behind the machines. We write the code that makes robots move with precision and autonomy. You’ll work on diverse challenges that use every skill you bring to the table.
- Control robotic motion and automation tasks
- Integrate instruments and sensors
- Handle everything from fluid dispensing to bacterial identification
What We’re Looking For:
- Programming experience: 3–5 years recommended
- Languages: C# preferred (or strong skills in another language and willingness to learn C#)
- Education: Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering (or equivalent experience)
Bonus skills:
- Robotic motion control, automation, computer vision
- SQL databases, TCP/IP networking, serial communications
- Git, Microsoft Teams
No biology or chemistry knowledge required—we’ll teach you what you need.
Work Environment:
- Onsite full-time for 6–12 months; hybrid possible later
