- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) and/or SAP Group Reporting.
- Experience with SAP Analysis for Office (AFO) and financial reporting dashboards.
- Knowledge of SAP Solution Manager or SAP Cloud ALM.
- Familiarity with IFRS 18 reporting standards.
- SAP certification in SAP S/4HANA Finance or SAP Group Reporting.
- Experience working in a global, multi-entity consolidation environment.
- Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Experience supporting SAP Finance applications in an AMS/support environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day AMS support for SAP Group Reporting, including incident management, problem resolution, and change requests in accordance with SLA commitments.
- Configure and maintain SAP Group Reporting objects, including:
- Consolidation units
- Versions
- Hierarchies
- Elimination rules
- Currency translation methods
- Support month-end and year-end financial close activities, ensuring accurate and timely consolidation of financial data.
- Collaborate with Finance teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective SAP solutions.
- Manage and resolve tickets through ITSM tools such as ServiceNow.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive actions for recurring issues.
- Support integration between SAP Group Reporting and SAP S/4HANA Universal Journal, as well as other feeder systems.
- Participate in SAP upgrades, patches, enhancements, and related testing activities.
- Conduct unit testing, regression testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Maintain functional and technical documentation, including configuration guides, test scripts, and SOPs.
- Support intercompany reconciliation, eliminations, and financial reporting processes.
- Work with SAP Analysis for Office and related reporting/data visualization capabilities.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing activities within the AMS team.
- Stay current with SAP product roadmaps and emerging SAP Group Reporting capabilities.
