Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to determine fencing layouts and materials needed
- Measure and mark installation sites accurately to ensure proper fence placement and alignment
- Use hand tools and power tools to dig post holes, assemble fencing panels, and secure structures firmly into the ground
- Operate heavy machinery such as post drivers or trenchers safely and efficiently on construction sites
- Install various types of fences including wood, vinyl, chain link, or ornamental styles while adhering to safety standards
- Perform concrete forming and finishing as needed for setting posts or securing fence components
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Requirements
- Proven experience in construction, carpentry, or related fields with a focus on fence installation preferred
- Knowledge of frame carpentry, masonry, concrete forming, and finishing techniques is highly desirable
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and heavy machinery safely and effectively
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, digging, bending, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
- Prior experience working on construction sites with an understanding of safety procedures is essential
- Skills in landscape maintenance or hardscape work are a plus for versatile project involvement
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow technical instructions accurately
