Registered Pharmacy Technician- Full Time/Part Time

The Registered Pharmacy Technician supports safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy operations by processing prescriptions, preparing and dispensing medications for patients by assisting pharmacist, managing inventory, and supporting insurance billing and solving problems by working with providers and insurance companies following state and federal regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare medications for dispensing.
• Dispense medications in accordance with pharmacy procedures.
• Manage medication inventory and stock levels.
• Complete patient intake and provide customer support.
• Process insurance billing and resolve related issues.
• Use pharmacy software to support prescription and patient-care activities.
• Follow regulatory compliance requirements and pharmacy standards.
• Able to deliver medication to the patient if needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1 years of experience practicing as a pharmacy technician.
• Registered Florida Pharmacy technician license in good standing
• Valid Drivers License
• Level II background screened in the last 5 years (preferred).
