We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our Building Services team as a part-time Janitorial Worker. As a Janitorial worker, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our client's properties including Municipal, County & State-owned buildings located throughout the southern side of New Jersey. This opportunity is ideal for those looking for eventual full-time work as well.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following functions of the job include, but are not limited to:
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and kitchen areas
- Refill soap, toilet paper, and other supplies as needed
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Perform tasks relating to providing a clean/healthy environment in bathrooms, public restrooms, and other areas
- Report all items that require maintenance/repair
- Collect all waste material, sort, and recyclable as directed
- May order and be responsible for needed cleaning supplies
- Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols
- Perform related duties as assigned
- May be required to report to a variety of different sites and work different shifts, including mornings, evenings, afternoons, and nights.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- HS or GED recommended
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning (preferred, but not required)
- Able to work independently and efficiently
- Driver's License (preferred, but not require)
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 per hour
