Express Lube Technician

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes according to manufacturer specifications
- Rotate and balance tires as assigned
- Inspect and top off vehicle fluids
- Replace air filters, cabin air filters, wiper blades, and other routine maintenance items
- Perform multi-point vehicle inspections and accurately document findings
- Check tire pressure and inspect tires for wear and damage
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
- Communicate inspection results and maintenance recommendations to the Express Service Writer or Service Advisor
- Work efficiently to help maintain a smooth, high-volume Express Service operation
- Properly use and maintain shop tools and equipment
- Assist with other service department duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous automotive experience is helpful but not required
- Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Schedule
This position works Monday through Saturday with one scheduled day off during the week. The specific weekday off will be determined based on department scheduling needs.
