Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to maintain a secure environment using CCTV surveillance systems and physical patrols
- Conduct thorough inspections of visitors, employees, and contractors to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances with conflict management skills and escalate situations appropriately when necessary
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes
- Enforce site policies by verifying identification and access credentials for all personnel entering the premises
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying suspicious activity and preventing theft or damage
- Support emergency response procedures by providing first aid or CPR when needed and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and experience with conflict management techniques
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly desirable; willingness to obtain if not already certified
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail during patrols and inspections
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public
- Physical ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as required
