Position Title: Inventory Control
Reports To: Inventory Control Supervisor
Overview
Inventory Control Associates are responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring product levels are appropriately monitored and documented. This position plays a crucial role in supporting warehouse operations by verifying stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining efficient, organized inventory systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records for all warehouse areas (cooler, freezer, and dry storage).
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with rotating stock and ensuring proper storage practices are followed.
- Communicate findings and discrepancies with management and team members.
- Follow all company policies, safety guidelines, and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Job responsibilities may not be limited to inventory control only. As a CWD associate, you may be required to assist with other job duties if there are business needs.
Job Requirements
- Ability to lift at least 45 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, and work on your feet for up to 10 hours per day.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Ability to work in changing temperature environments (e.g., freezer, cooler, and dry areas).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Willingness to work with a flexible schedule.
Preferred Abilities (But Not Required)
- Experience working with Microsoft 365.
- Experience working with Systems/Computers.
- Experience working with aspects of Inventory Control.
