We’re hiring 2 experienced Nurse Managers to lead a Behavioral Health unit at a hospital in Brooklyn, NY. This is a direct hire / contract-to-hire opportunity with strong leadership impact and growth potential.
Schedule:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Start: ASAP
- Compensation: $100/Hr
Duties:
- Lead daily operations of a psychiatric unit in collaboration with senior leadership
- Oversee patient care, staffing, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives
- Ensure adherence to DOH, JCAHO, and OMH regulatory standards
- Drive quality, safety, and patient satisfaction outcomes
- Support staff development and maintain a high-performing clinical team
Must-Have Qualifications
- RN license (NY) Master's of Nursing Degree
- 5 years RN experience with 5 years in psychiatry
- 2 years in leadership within a hospital-based psych unit (required)
- Experience with NY Justice Center Department
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance & quality improvement
- BLS, ACLS, Crisis Management certification
