Position OverviewVA Bedford Medical Center is seeking two (2) experienced Phlebotomists to provide high-quality laboratory and specimen collection services to our Veteran patient population. These positions support inpatient, outpatient, Emergency Department (ED), and STAT phlebotomy services within a modern, well-equipped laboratory environment.???? ResponsibilitiesPhlebotomists will perform duties aligned with the Clinical & Laboratory Standards Institute (CLSI) guidelines, including:Perform venipuncture and specimen collection for inpatient rounds, outpatient clinic, ED, STAT, ASAP, and timed drawsProcess specimens, prepare send-outs, and ensure accurate sample handlingPositively identify patients and specimens according to VA safety standards???? Minimum Qualifications3 years of recent phlebotomy experience (required)Active Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT)Must meet VA training requirements, including:BLS/ACLS (renew every 2 years)VA Privacy & Information Security Training (annual)VHA Privacy & HIPAA Training (annual)????
