Director of Risk Management
Duties:
- Provide leadership and oversight for the organization’s risk management program.
- Identify, evaluate, and mitigate clinical, operational, and regulatory risks.
- Review adverse events, incidents, claims, and patient-safety concerns.
- Lead root-cause analyses and support corrective action planning.
- Collaborate with nursing, medical staff, quality, compliance, legal, and executive leadership.
- Develop and maintain risk management policies, procedures, and reporting processes.
Qualifications:
- Current New Mexico RN license or active multistate RN license – required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school of nursing – required
- Strong knowledge of healthcare risk management, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Certification:
- Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification preferred at time of hire
- CPHRM certification must be obtained within 3 years of employment
Compensation: $57.00-$72.00/HR
