CT Technologist – Iowa City VA Health Care System
Location: Iowa City, IA | Full-time, Scheduled & On-Call
The Iowa City VA Medical Center is seeking CT Technologists (ARRT-certified) to provide onsite diagnostic imaging services. This role supports Veteran care through high-quality CT imaging, adhering to all VA protocols, infection control standards, and safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging for patients according to physician orders and VA protocols
Operate and maintain CT equipment independently and efficiently
Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging technique
Participate in on-call rotations as needed
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
Comply with infection control and safety standards, including vaccinations and TB testing
Qualifications:
Current ARRT CT certification
Current BLS certification
U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
Technical proficiency and ability to communicate fluently in English
Compliance with VA credentialing, mandatory training, and immunization requirements
Contract Details:
Base: 6 months with four optional 6-month extensions
