Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Load customer orders onto delivery trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
- Properly secure loads to minimize product damage during transportation.
- Inspect pallets and products for quality and stability before loading.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment as authorized.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all food safety, warehouse safety, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, selectors, forklift operators, and drivers.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
This position is physically demanding and requires the ability to:
- Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull products weighing up to 50 pounds or more.
- Stand, walk, bend, twist, and reach throughout the shift.
- Work in varying temperature environments, including coolers and freezers when necessary.
- Perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods.
- Work safely around moving equipment and warehouse traffic.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse, loading, shipping, or distribution experience is beneficial but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
