Huck Finn is looking for positive, dependable Sales Associates to join our growing team at both our Showroom and Outlet locations.
At Huck Finn Home, every customer interaction is an opportunity to build a relationship — whether you’re helping design a living room layout or guiding a family through the Outlet for a great deal on a new sofa.
About the Role
As a Sales Associate, you’ll engage customers, learn their needs, and help them discover the right furniture, mattress, or home décor solution. You’ll stay knowledgeable about our products, promotions, and inventory — and make sure every guest leaves feeling confident about their purchase.
This is a dynamic role that blends customer service, retail sales, and merchandising. You’ll help maintain the look and feel of the floor, assist with product setup and tagging, and contribute to the success of your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
- Present features, benefits, pricing, and financing options clearly and confidently.
- Maintain showroom and outlet presentation standards, including tagging and display upkeep.
- Collaborate with the team to meet and exceed individual and store sales goals.
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Stay current on promotions, product lines, and delivery processes.
- Support operational needs such as merchandising and assisting with floor moves.
Qualifications
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred; furniture experience a plus.
- Friendly, approachable personality with strong communication skills.
- Goal-oriented and motivated by results.
- Reliable, professional, and able to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency (POS system experience helpful).
- Strong sense of teamwork and accountability.
