Our Culinary Arts Instructors provide engaging instruction, administer tests and evaluate student progress, understanding and proficiency. At the Hubert H. Humphrey Job Corps Center, operated by Education and Training Resources (ETR), we have challenging projects and creative people who make a difference in the lives of at-risk young people each and every day.
MAIN DUTIES:
Provide industry-recognized instruction and training; log student progress
Identify, select and modify instructional resources to meet student needs
Evaluate and supervise students in on-the-job training
Motivate and counsel students about study habits, behavior and personal issues
Model appropriate behavior; mentor and monitor students
WORK SCHEDULE:
Full-time working weekdays from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Valid culinary certification, license or accreditation; industry experience; valid Minnesota driver’s license with acceptable driving record. Teaching experience preferred.
SALARY AND BENEFITS:
$50,000 per year plus benefits, including 12 paid holidays, paid vacation and sick time, 401(k) with match, and medical, dental and vision insurance
