NOW HIRING: Lubricant Manufacturing Blender
Job Summary: The Lubricant Manufacturing Blender is responsible for accurately blending raw materials and additives to produce high-quality lubricants according to established formulations, safety standards, and production schedules. This role involves operating blending equipment, monitoring process parameters, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring product consistency through testing and quality checks. The Blender works closely with quality control, packaging, and maintenance teams to support efficient and safe plant operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to approved batch formulas and work orders.
Operate and monitor blending tanks, pumps, mixers, and related production equipment.
Perform in-process testing to verify viscosity, color, and other quality specifications.
Accurately document batch data, production logs, and material usage in compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Clean and maintain blending tanks, lines, and work areas to ensure safe and contamination-free operations.
Follow all safety, environmental, and quality protocols, including proper handling of chemicals and use of PPE.
Assist with material transfers, product filtration, and drum or tote filling as needed.
Report equipment malfunctions or process deviations to supervisors promptly.
Physical Requirements :
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently.
Stand, walk, bend, and climb stairs or ladders for extended periods during shifts.
Tolerate exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial odors.
Use of personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles, respirators, etc.) as required.
Capability to safely operate forklifts or other material-handling equipment (training provided if necessary).
Preferred Qualifications: Basic math, measurement, and mechanical aptitude. Familiarity with safety data sheets (SDS) and safe chemical handling procedures. Job specific training will be provided.
