About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and self-driven Estate Planning Attorney with a proven track record of client development and a minimum of 5 years’ experience as an estate planning attorney. The ideal candidate brings an established book of business, a demonstrated history of delivering sophisticated client work, and the ability to operate with a high degree of independence. This is a senior-level leadership opportunity. The attorney who joins us will have the autonomy to shape and lead the estate planning practice area, contribute to the firm’s strategic growth, and build a long-term presence within the Sacramento legal community.

Responsibilities

• Lead estate planning matters from consultation to completion

• Draft, review, and finalize comprehensive estate planning documents

• Maintain precise and timely client records and communications

• Collaborate with support staff and attorneys to ensure the highest quality client experience

• Contribute to strategic business development and relationship building within the community

• Engage in and enjoy relationship development activities, such as peer-to-peer networking, estate planning workshops, and informational presentations

What We’re Looking For

• 5 years’ experience in estate planning

• Certified Specialist designation is preferred

• Established book of business and a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships

• Strong client communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills

• Professional, approachable presence and a high degree of empathy

• Proven ability to work independently and lead within a growing practice
