Position Summary
The Application Development & Technical Services Representative serves as the primary technical interface for customers, delivering tailored solutions and promoting Huber Advanced Materials products. This role involves managing technical service activities, supporting product development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and market responsiveness. Based in Fairmount, GA, the position requires strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence product direction.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the main technical contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing application support.
- Conduct product trials, troubleshoot issues, and demonstrate product performance.
- Collaborate with Sales, R&D, and Product Management to relay feedback and support development.
- Monitor industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Deliver technical training and create documentation for customers and internal teams.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and technical solutions.
Specialized/Technical Knowledge Or Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science.
- Minimum 5 years in product development and technical service within specialty chemicals.
- Proven success in new product development and launch.
- Strong project management, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.

In addition to base compensation, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and profit-sharing payout.
