A Day In The Life
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and accuracy through cycle counts and audits.
- Optimize warehouse layout and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members to maintain high performance and morale.
- Collaborate with logistics, procurement, and production teams to meet delivery schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of warehouse transactions and generate reports as needed.
- Run warehouse transactions reports and fix negatives and COGIS.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and safety.
- Resolve operational issues and escalate when necessary to management.
- Ensure equipment is maintained and operational, coordinating repairs as needed.
- Drive kaizen events to improve warehouse efficiencies.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
- 5 years Lean knowledge
- 5 years of warehouse experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems, SAP WMS & IM and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
- Forklift certification preferred.
