PCX is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting our production lines by interfacing with materials and planning to maintain flow.
A Day In The Life
- Assist in developing and maintaining detailed production schedules in collaboration with planning and production to meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate and monitor the flow of materials and components between departments to align with production schedules.
- Coordinate with production, planning, materials, engineering and quality to maintain flow of materials to the line(s).
- Work closely with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve any issues related to the procurement, delivery, and transportation of materials.
- Maintain inventory control and accuracy via accurate use of SAP to record material movements.
- Assist materials team in inventory audits as required.
- Promotes and demonstrates safe work habits.
- Supports a company climate of continuous improvement and cost savings.
- Champion other production projects as assigned by manager.
- BA/BS in STEM or Supply Chain or a related field preferred.
- 2 years experience in the construction of large electrical racks.
- Warehouse and inventory experience.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and inventory management systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with ERP systems.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work in a team and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
