Manufacturing & Process Engineering
- Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for PCB assemblies and electronic products.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including process development and production readiness.
- Create and maintain work instructions, process flows, setup sheets, and manufacturing documentation.
- Analyze production processes and implement improvements to increase throughput, yield, and efficiency.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for manufacturing issues.
- Create, modify, and optimize SMT programs for placement machines and related equipment.
- Support SMT operations including solder paste printing, placement, reflow, AOI, and inspection processes.
- Troubleshoot SMT process and equipment issues to minimize downtime and improve quality.
- Monitor and improve SMT line performance, cycle times, and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Purchasing, and Production teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support process validation and implementation of engineering changes
- Ensure compliance with IPC standards, customer requirements, and internal quality procedures.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing initiatives focused on waste reduction and process optimization.
- Implement and sustain 5S activities throughout the manufacturing environment.
- Conduct Value Stream Mapping exercises to identify bottlenecks and improve material flow.
- Analyze manufacturing data and KPI metrics to drive performance improvements.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field (required)
- 3-6 years of relevant experience within an electronics manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on SMT programming experience.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S. Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping experience.
- Strong knowledge of PCB assembly processes and electronic manufacturing techniques.
- Knowledge of IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards.
