Job Overview

A Day In The Life
- Receives material from suppliers and production and verifies accuracy of packing lists against Purchase orders using SAP purchasing Screens or "Boxing report".
- Counts, sorts and stores materials or items on racks, shelves or bins according to SAP inventory screens.
- Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production areas (as needed on second shift).
- Records quantities of material or items received or distributed by use of Material Requisitions, Receiving Ticket, Sample Requisition Forms, etc.
- Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
- Operates material handling equipment such as fork truck, electronic counting/weighing scales.
- Fork-lift and inventory experience is a plus. Must be able to work in a team.
- 1-2 years of Warehouse experience desired.
- This position requires lifting at least 35 pounds, handling 12 foot long crates with fork lift, computer (email and SAP) skills.
