Position Requirements
Looking for a seasoned rockstar Medical Assistant, with special expertise and keen interest in Dermatology, Aesthetics, or Facial Plastic Surgery (or a combination thereof), and who is passionate about serving others by collaborating with a top notch team to provide the foremost excellence in the spectrum of medical, aesthetic and surgical skin care.
The candidates for this position should want to work for an organization that is distancing themselves from the competition by being innovative, cutting edge, forward thinking and accomplished in the delivery of Dermatology, skin care, aesthetics and wellness. All candidates must have EMR experience, available to work outside of 8am-5pm on some occasions for early morning appointments and after hours events.
Job Duties:
· Assisting providers during dermatology clinic (ex. Skin checks, acne, psoriasis, eczema, biopsies)
· Assisting providers during cosmetic (non-surgical) clinic (ex. Botox, filler)
· Assisting under sterile technique during Facial Plastic Surgery (first assist and OR experience preferable)
· Monitoring sedated patients during Facial Plastic Surgery procedures
· Greeting patients
· Obtaining chief complaints
· Updating and maintaining medical records
· Obtaining consent forms from patients
· Delivering medical and aesthetic education to patients
· Preparing patients for procedures
· Assisting medical providers during examinations and procedures
· Preparing and collecting specimens for testing
· Documenting physical examination findings
· General office administration duties
