What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech-Language Pathologist, CCC,CFY or SLP-Assistant position at Hubbard & Tennyson, LLC?
Immediate opening with signing bonus for therapists with school and/or clinic experience to perform contract work with students from 3-21 years old. SLP-A's will also be considered.
- Complete screenings to identify students with a speech/language disorder.
- Perform speech and language evaluations, as required by Louisiana law, to include observations if necessary.
- Develop an annual Individual Education Plan (IEP) for schools, or an Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) for Early Steps, or maintain SOAP notes for Private Clients.
- Design treatment strategies for in-person therapy to help the student/patient best meet the goals and objectives stated in the IEP or IFSP.
- Conduct speech/language therapy services according to frequency and duration as indicated in the IEP or IFSP in a group or individual session.
- Complete all documentation that is required for each student (daily logs, progress notes, RTI, evaluations etc.)
- Experience of pediatric dysphagia a plus.
Applicant must be fully licensed, able to pass a background check, willing to travel within the city limits of New Orleans and able to start ASAP!
