Responsibilities And Duties
- Manage and resolve defective material claims, including RGA processing, vendor follow-up, and credit recovery.
- Assist with purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment based on inventory needs and sales trends
- Review requisitions and forecasts to determine procurement requirements
- Monitor vendor pricing, lead times, and performance to ensure competitive and reliable supply
- Track purchase orders, shipments, and deliveries to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain vendor records, documentation, and product information within the ERP system
- Support the negotiation of vendor terms, pricing, and delivery schedules
- Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse, and Operations to ensure communication and alignment on inventory needs
- Identify and escalate supply issues, discrepancies, or product availability concerns
- Assist with maintaining appropriate inventory levels and reordering thresholds
- Follow all company purchasing and inventory control procedures
- Monday–Friday schedule (no nights or weekends)

Requirements
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Minimum 1–2 years of progressive experience in purchasing, procurement, supply chain, or a related role
- Product/application knowledge in plumbing, construction, or related industries (preferred but not required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and analytical abilities
- Ability to manage time, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Associate’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field
- 2 years in a similar purchasing or procurement role
- Experience in wholesale distribution
- Strong communication and vendor relationship-building skills
- Ability to interpret data, reports, or basic purchasing metrics
