We are seeking a dynamic, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven individual to join Hubbard Street. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Manager of Training Operations is responsible for the daily administration and finances of Hubbard Street's Summer Intensives and other training programs as assigned. This position does not oversee HSDC's community based in school or adaptive dance programs. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and must enjoy working closely with many different constituencies in a fast-paced, creative environment.

This position is part of a larger administrative team and works alongside the artistic team. The Manager of Training Operations is entrusted with balancing organizational priorities, artistic excellence and the daily human experiences of our students.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for the management of the Summer Intensive and other training budgets, with frequent reporting to the Executive Director and the Director of Finance & Administration.

Administer program registration, timing and collection of payments with students, families, faculty and staff. Communicate effectively with Business Office about timing of expected and received payments.

In collaboration with senior management, implement and facilitate the creation and expansion of new Training Programs

Develop productive relationships with the senior staff to facilitate clear communication and a positive environment

Maintain internal and external communication with all constituents, including potential dancers, registrants, families, faculty, chaperones and artistic staff. Ensure all constituents are well informed of all aspects of Training programs' deadlines, policies, procedure, and more

Handle parent/student inquiries and concerns, and address incidents with the Executive Director as needed.

Track and report enrollment, revenue and expenses to support ongoing evaluation of programs.

Ensure all data and files are organized, collected, and reported in a manner that will facilitate successful planning within the organization and for the Training programs' success in the future.

Create, update and maintain policies and procedures for the Training Programs.

Negotiate and contract housing, catering, and other vendors for the Summer Intensive.

Hire, train, and supervise chaperones.

Plan and implement Summer Intensive weekend activities.

Manage and implement the audition tour in consultation with the artistic team.

Attend summer intensive auditions as administrative support as needed.

Collect all constituent data for the audition tour, prepare materials for the tour, and distribute results to students and families in a timely and accurate manner.

Work closely with Marketing staff on the creation and editing of materials to build awareness and presence of Training programs.

Collaborate with Director of Finance & Administration to update employment contract templates.

Prepare employment contracts for faculty members, accompanists, and visiting guest artists; assist with faculty scheduling, including subs, faculty payroll, and communication and management of guest artists.

Coordinate scholarship and financial aid process.

On-site point person for Summer Intensives, ensuring a smooth experience for all participants.

Other duties, as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Hubbard Street gives preference to candidates who have demonstrable experience advocating for equity, diversity and inclusion.

Minimum five years working in a related field.

Initiative, timely follow-though and generative problem-solving; ability to adapt to changing priorities with grace and ease under time constraints. Flexibility and a team player sensibility essential.

Valid drivers' license and the ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds unassisted.
