Responsibilities
- Engage in outside sales activities to identify new clients and expand our insurance portfolio through proactive outreach and networking.
- Conduct detailed analysis of clients’ insurance needs across property, casualty, health, and commercial lines to recommend appropriate coverage options.
- Negotiate policy terms and pricing with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction while adhering to insurance regulations and company policies.
- Manage sales administration tasks including policy documentation, benefits administration, and maintaining accurate client records.
- Communicate complex insurance concepts clearly and effectively to clients, ensuring they understand their coverage options and benefits.
- Stay informed about industry trends, marketing strategies, and regulatory changes affecting insurance sales and compliance.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Experience
- Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales within the insurance industry or related fields.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close sales while maintaining compliance with insurance regulation standards.
- Knowledge of property casualty insurance, health insurance, commercial insurance, and HIPAA regulations is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency is a plus for serving diverse client bases.
- Familiarity with sales administration tools, analysis skills for assessing client needs, and marketing techniques to attract new business.
- Prior experience with telemarketing or customer service roles that involve benefits administration or benefits consulting is advantageous.
